Fabulous Lemon Drops in The Garden City
Next stop Toowoomba. It’s quite a drive up to Toowoomba, but well worth the trip. It’s a familiar road if you’re from Queensland as you breeze past the Big Orange and the Big Elephant, before you are faced with a very steep climb which gets you to the top of the Great Dividing Range. We love Toowoomba, it’s such a charming town. Vibrant, colourful, with plenty to do and some lovely places to visit. It’s always nice to play to a full house, and many thanks to the energetic children who danced with us last week. Despite having to squeeze three concerts into what proved to be a very tight schedule, we still had time for a bit of sightseeing after the shows. It is immediately obvious what a beautiful town Toowoomba is, with its wide tree-lined streets and picturesque parks. The views are very impressive particularly around Picnic Point and the Queens Park Botanic Gardens, where we took the opportunity of taking a few snaps. All in all a lovely trip, and one we would be keen to do again.
Next stop the Gold Coast and Northern NSW. We can’t wait!
